There is no substitute for reading God's word. However, God still uses things outside of His word to speak to our hearts. There were two songs that really spoke to me this week.
Jesus Culture - Your Love Never Fails
and
Hillsong United - Always
If you're up for it, listen to the following youtube videos, google the lyrics, and really listen to the words. They are quite powerful. I hope God uses the songs to bless you guys the same way that He has used them to bless me this week.
Keep fighting the good fight!

We were challenged to think of 2 things C-Stone needed this year. Heres what our sg came up with..
... 1 Pray that we pray. A lot of us, myself included, are guilty of not being diligent when it comes to honestly lifting up our praises and requests up to God. Pray that we can desire to spend time with God each day in prayer.
... 2 Pray for ownership. One thing that we noted was that not a lot of us come to Cornerstone committed to take care of Cornerstone and to see it grow. Pray that we can treat Cornerstone as our own, to take care of it, to desire to see it prosper, and to do our best to see it grow. Pray that in all things, we are able to depend upon God to allow such things to happen. At the end of the day, it is not our efforts but God's sovereign hand that causes things to come to fruition

.a tool of empowerment.
Information flows seamlessly in our lives these days. Technology provides us with an amazing ability to broadcast our thoughts, questions, and ideas with ease and speed. My hope for this blog is for us to use this power of broadcasting to our advantage and use it as another tool to empower us as Christians in our daily lives. So what should you post on here? Lets be fluid and find out as we go...
... Question about Joe's sunday sermon?
... Want to share a great passage you read?
... Have a prayer?
... Want to share some encouragement?
Needless to say, the possibilities are endless. A great tool to empower us and grow together!
